CHILDREN OF BODOM 'Fever' Hits UK
April 14, 2008BODOM fever spread all over the UK as CHILDREN OF BODOM's new album, "Blooddrunk", hit the stores today. Staff at Zavvi, whose flagship Oxford Street store had to shut down three of its floors to accommodate fans for last month's signing session there, has been hit hardest by the fever. This morning, members of staff were seen literally covered in BODOM, with all employees wearing a specially designed t-shirt. The fever is highly contagious, and it seems no one is safe, with "Blooddrunk" being available worldwide by the end of the week. If you think you may have contracted the disease, it is advised that you throw the horns and bang your head viciously until you have it got it out of your system.
"Blooddrunk", has been certified gold in Finland for sales in excess of 15,000 copies. After a number one single last month, the band has again stormed the Finnish chart, with "Blooddrunk" going gold on pre-sales alone, before it has even been officially released a first for the band.
The CD is scheduled for release in North America on April 15 via Spinefarm/Fontana International.
